Willie B. Adkins Scholars Program Vallejo Important Dates
Orientation 2019-2020 Monday August 26, 2019- Vallejo High School Auditorium 6:30pm-7:30pm. All Parents and Scholars need to attend.
August 30, 2019- No more out of District applications will be accepted for the Vallejo Program.
Sunday September 8, 2019- UCan HBCU College Fair. Required for all Seniors and Juniors who attend out of district school. See below for information.
Monday, September 9, 2019- FIRST DAY OF PROGRAM! Student’s need to report to their assigned sites. Vallejo Middle School- Annex PD Center 5:30pm Study Hall and 6:30pm Program begins Jesse Bethel High School Library 5:30pm Study Hall and 6:30pm Program begins. MUST BE IN UNIFORM.
Tuesday, September 10, 2019- UCAN HBCU College Fair. Required for all Seniors and Juniors who attend Vallejo City Unified School District Schools. See Information below.
Saturday, September 21, 2019-Mandatory Senior Parent/Student College Admissions Bootcamp. Cal Maritime 9:00am-3:00pm.
Monday, September 23, 2019- Joint Meeting @ Vallejo High School. All Scholars report to Vallejo High School Library. Study Hall @ 5:30pm Program begins at 6:30pm. Parent Meeting 7:30pm-8:30pm Vallejo High School Auditorium.
Saturday, September 28, 2019- Mandatory SAT/ACT Bootcamp for Seniors and Juniors 9:00am-3:00pm Cal Maritime.
Monday, September 30, 2019- Out of District Assessment fee due.
Wednesday September 4, 2019 FIRST DAY OF PROGRAM!- Chavez High 6:30 pm Program begins. Must be in Uniform.

SENIORS are encouraged to bring the following items to the College Fair to ensure they receive “ON-THE-SPOT” admissions and scholarship consideration:
NOTE: Some of the colleges will accept students who have a minimum 2.0 GPA and who have not yet taken the SAT/ACT
JUNIORS and OTHERS should bring the following:

We will be hosting our 34th Annual 100 Men Who Can Cook Fundraiser. The date is Sunday November 3, 2019.
We will be hosting 2 dinner sessions 1:30pm-3:30pm and 3:30pm-5:30pm.
You can purchase your tickets from a Scholar beginning in September. **Online purchases will not be credited toward your scholar.**
